It's not like you need any more reasons to love the 2012 Volvo S60, but McLaughlin Volvo is going to give you one. It's a five-star rating from the National Institute for Highway Safety (NHTSA), and the S60 earned not just one, but five five-star ratings.

That's right, it earned an overall safety rating of five stars, as well as top ratings in the frontal, side pole, side barrier and rollover tests...

For years, Volvo has upheld the reputation of building some of the safest vehicles on the road. And this year is no exception, with five new Volvo models named IIHS "Top Safety Picks" for 2012. That's over half of the lineup, and it means that the Volvo S80, Volvo S60, Volvo C30, Volvo XC60 and Volvo XC90 all earned top ratings of "Good" in the front offset, side impact, roof strength and rear-crash safety...
