The Volvo Museum Gathers More Attention in 2011

When the Volvo Car Corporation takes soles ownership of Pininfarina Sveige AB in Sweden, their joint venture manufacturing facility in Uddevalla will meet its end. The Swedish plant currently manufactures the Volvo C70 hardtop convertible, but according to officials at the company, employees and manufacturing will be better suited at plants with a higher production volume.

By the end of next year, drivers in the Moline, IL area will be able to come into McLaughlin Volvo to check out the latest in electric vehicle technology. Volvo has recently announced that in the next few months, testing will begin on an entirely electric Volvo C30.
