Volvo Adds All-Wheel Capabilities to the S60 T5

There's not much we would change about the Volvo S60, if anything at all. The entry-level variant comes with a 250-hp turbocharged engine, a 30-mpg EPA rating, a 0-60 sprint time of just under seven seconds, and a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Oh, it's fun to drive alright - safe, reliable, and packed to the brim with features. And we don't really need to tell you this - but it looks pretty cool driving down the road, too.
So, take all of that, and then imagine if you could get it in an AWD variant - without bumping up to the T6 variant. Sounds even better, doesn't it? We certainly hope you think so, because Volvo recently announced plans to introduce an AWD option for the Volvo S60 T5 this year. Which means, by summer's end, you could be driving around in a sleekly designed luxury car that with all-wheel drive handling.
The Volvo S60 T5 comes standard with 17-inch wheels, heated mirrors, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, eight-way power driver seat, and Bluetooth/iPod/USB connectivity. Also standard? The 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, stability control, traction control, and front and rear parking assist.
If you don't want to wait for the AWD variant, you can stop in and see us at McLaughlin Volvo, 4101 41st St Moline, IL 61265 whenever you're ready to take a Volvo S60 for a spin. If you're waiting for the all-wheel drive model, be sure to contact us this summer to arrange your test drive.
